Made for the ways people share

Friends

Send a link, no sign-up required. Friends can join, add dinners or shared buys, and see who paid what.

Travelers

Split hotels, meals, and activities in 150+ currencies. Settle up at the end of the trip without spreadsheet math.

Roommates

Track rent, utilities, and household expenses over time. History and stats help everyone understand where money goes.

Three steps and you're done

1) Get the group together

Trips, dinners, rent, your band. Invite people with a link, and no one needs to sign up first.

2) Add each expense

Choose who paid, who joined, and how to split it: equally, by percent, by unit, or by exact amount.

3) See the settle-up list

You get one clear settle-up list for the group. Mark payments as they happen, and the balances stay up to date.

All the ways wariwari keeps things clear

Without simplification, the same group can end up with overlapping repayment requests.

Turn a tangled group into a short settle-up

Trips can pile up paybacks fast. wariwari cuts them down so fewer people need to send money.

Things you might wonder

Is it free?

Yes! The core wariwari experience is and will stay free for all users, but some specific features might require the Pro plan.

Do my friends need an account?

Nope! You send a link, they open it, they're in the group. They can make an account later if they want to track balances across multiple devices.

Can multiple people edit the same group?

Yes. wariwari is built for shared groups, so multiple people can add and update expenses.

The exact access depends on the group's sharing settings. Some groups are open to anyone with the link, and others can limit editing to specific members.

Do you support multiple currencies?

Yes. Each group has one base currency, and you can also add expenses in other currencies.

When you do, wariwari converts the expense into the group currency using the exchange rate available at the time of the transaction, then saves that converted amount with the transaction. That keeps balances and history stable later, even if exchange rates move afterward.

Can I move a group to a new phone or browser?

Yes. If you link the group to your account, you can open it again on another device and keep working there.

If you only opened the group as a guest in one browser, it stays available there until you claim your member or join with an account.

Can I import expenses from other applications?

Yes! We support importing from Walica and Revolut and are working to add more applications.

Can I export or back up my data?

Yes. Groups can export a CSV of their transactions, and your account page can download the group data this browser knows about as JSON.

CSV is better for spreadsheets and round-tripping expenses. JSON is better if you want a broader backup of participants, expenses, and splits.

Is my data private?

Yes. We do not sell your data, and we do not require banking connections. Your group data is yours, and you can export or delete it whenever.
